Praise God from whom all blessings flow

Lauren is now off the respirator. She has a Trach collar and is breathing 100% on her own with additional oxygen. They might put her back on CPAP if she gets tired but she did very well today breathing on her own. She followed some voice commands and showed the doctor 2 fingers when he asked. The doctors let us know that doing something like raising 2 fingers when asked is very exhausting for Lauren right now. We are encouraged by her improvement! Please keep praying.

Isaiah 26:3-4

Lauren had a good day today. Although she didn't respond to the doctors she was moving her right side throughout the day. She did open one eye for a split second when her nurse clapped in front of her face. She should get a Trach and a Peg tube by Friday. This will allow the doctors to remove all the tubes from her mouth and make her more comfortable.

Case is doing great! We have a great team of people at daycare loving on him everyday. He is continuing to grow and he is learning how to clap.

Please continue to pray for Lauren, we appreciate all the support we have received so far. We still believe that God is good!

Isaiah 26:3-4
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal.

"Because where two or three have come together in my name, I am there among them."

Lauren has been on the CPAP machine for 24 hrs. This means she is mostly breathing on her own. Although she didn't respond to vocal commands she was moving both arms and legs at different times througho...ut the day. They have taken her off all pain medication in hopes that she will wake up soon. We are overwhelmed by the support we are getting from friends, family, and our church family. We ask that everyone would continue to pray for Lauren and share her story with all they know.

Isaiah 40:29
He gives strength to those who are tired and more power to those who are weak
